Ingredients
  

Group: Seafood and Meat
  • 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb. kielbasa sausage, sliced
Group: Vegetables
  • 1 lb. small red potatoes, halved
  • 2 ears corn, cut into thirds
Group: Seasonings and Broth
  • 2 Tbsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Equipment

  • Slow cooker 6-quart recommended.

Method
 

  1. Coat the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick spray for easy cleanup.
  2. Place halved red potatoes at the bottom, followed by the kielbasa sausage.
  3. Add corn pieces on top, then sprinkle with garlic and Old Bay seasoning.
  4. Pour the chicken broth gently over the mixture.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until potatoes are tender.
  6. Add shrimp and lemon slices 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Sprinkle fresh parsley before serving and enjoy!

Notes

Watch for overcooking shrimp; they should be added in the last 30 minutes to avoid rubbery texture.
