Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for roasting.
  2. Rinse the asparagus under cold water and snap off the woody ends.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper.
  4. Spread asparagus in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet and roast for 12-15 minutes.
  5. After roasting, drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
