- In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, garlic powder, and onion powder. Whisk until smooth, and adjust the salt and pepper to taste.
- Divide the ground beef into four equal pieces (about 4 ounces each) and gently form them into balls.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until it’s sizzling hot.
- Place two balls of beef in the skillet and smash each down to about 1/2 inch thick, seasoning generously with salt and pepper.
- Once the burgers are golden brown after about 2-3 minutes, flip them and add a slice of cheese on top of each patty.
- While the cheese melts, butter the insides of the buns and toast them in the skillet until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers with house sauce, the patties, and your favorite toppings.
- Enjoy your burgers immediately while hot and juicy!

These burgers are best enjoyed fresh off the skillet!
