Ingredients

  • 2 oz. white rum
  • 1 oz. coconut cream Brand: Chaokoh recommended
  • 1 oz. heavy cream

  • 6 oz. fresh pineapple Can use canned if fresh is unavailable

  • 1/2 cup crushed ice
  • 1 slice pineapple wedge For garnish
  • 1 cherry maraschino cherry For garnish

  • High-speed blender
  • Chilled glass

Method
 

  1. In a high-speed blender, combine the white rum, coconut cream, heavy cream, and fresh pineapple. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add the crushed ice and blend again until creamy and frothy.
  3. Taste the mixture; if desired, add more coconut cream or a touch of simple syrup for sweetness.
  4. Pour the Pina Colada into a chilled hurricane glass.
  5. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry. Serve immediately.

Notes

This Pina Colada is best enjoyed fresh for the most vibrant flavor.
