  • 8 cups filtered water
  • 1 medium cucumber, sliced thinly
  • 1 medium lemon, sliced
  • a handful fresh mint leaves
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and sliced

Method
 

  1. Start by gathering all your fresh ingredients. Slice the cucumber and lemon into thin rounds.
  2. In a large pitcher, add cucumber slices, lemon slices, and fresh mint leaves. Muddle gently to release the flavors.
  3. Add sliced ginger to the mixture.
  4. Pour in the 8 cups of filtered water, ensuring everything is submerged. Let it infuse in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  5. When ready to serve, strain out the solids if desired and pour into glasses over ice. Garnish with mint or a slice of lemon.

Notes

This detox water is best consumed within two days for optimal freshness. Experiment with flavors by adding seasonal fruits!
