  • 2 ripe avocados, halved and pitted
  • 4 slices your favorite bread sourdough or whole grain recommended
  • 1 lemon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings cherry tomatoes, radishes, feta cheese, microgreens, or sriracha

Method
 

  1. Toast your slices of bread until they're golden brown.
  2. In a medium bowl, mash the avocados and combine with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the mashed avocado generously over the toasted bread slices.
  4. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy immediately.
