Ingredients

Group: Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh cottage cheese
  • 1 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 Tbsp. honey or maple syrup (to taste)
  • 2 Tbsp. chia seeds (optional)
  • handful chopped nuts (walnuts or almonds)
  • optional Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Method

  1. Begin by scooping 1 cup of fresh cottage cheese into a medium mixing bowl. For the best texture, I prefer using a creamy brand like Daisy. This will create a delightful base for your bowl.
  2. Drizzle in 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup. If you like it sweeter, feel free to add a touch more. Mix gently until everything is well combined, bringing out the flavors of the cottage cheese.
  3. Wash 1 cup of mixed fresh berries, opting for a vibrant combination of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. If you’re using strawberries, slice them into bite-sized pieces for easier enjoyment.
  4. Now, it’s time to assemble your bowl. Start with a generous scoop of the sweetened cottage cheese at the bottom, then pile the mixed berries artfully on top for a visually appealing dish.
  5. If you like, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of chia seeds over the berries for an added nutritional boost. Then, add a handful of chopped nuts, such as walnuts or almonds, which provide a satisfying crunch.
  6. For a final touch, garnish your bowl with fresh mint leaves. Not only do they enhance the flavor, but they also add a pop of color, making your dish look even more festive.
  7. Take a moment to appreciate the vibrant colors and inviting aromas before digging in. Each bite offers a delightful blend of creamy, sweet, and crunchy textures—truly a treat for the senses!
