Ingredients

Group: Toppings and Sauce
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • Sliced pickles
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Red onion

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Large bowl
  • Spatula
  • Meat thermometer

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into four portions and shape into patties about ¾ inch thick, making a slight indentation in the center.
  3. Preheat your grill over medium-high heat until hot.
  4. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
  5. Flip the burgers and top each with a slice of cheddar. Grill for another 3-4 minutes until cheese is melted.
  6. While the burgers finish cooking, toast the buns cut-side down on the grill until golden.
  7. Assemble the burgers with BBQ sauce, patties, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Be careful not to overmix the meat to maintain juiciness. Grill to your desired level of doneness.
