Ingredients

Group: Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (two sticks)
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (preferably Dutch-process)
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 8 Oreo cookies coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups chopped into small pieces
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Equipment

  • 9x13-inch baking dish
  • Medium saucepan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Wire rack

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper and grease lightly.
  3. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  4. Remove the melted butter from heat, whisk in the sugar until glossy, then add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips, chopped Oreo cookies, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before lifting out using the parchment paper. Let cool completely on a wire rack and slice into squares.

Notes

For extra indulgence, drizzle melted chocolate or caramel over the top before slicing.
