  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder (or fresh minced garlic)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) for even cooking.
  2. Season chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan in a large bowl.
  4. Dip chicken in melted butter, then coat in breadcrumb mixture and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until chicken reaches 165°F internally.
  6. Let rest for a few minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

Freshly grated Parmesan offers better flavor compared to the pre-packaged stuff.
