Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy like almond or oat)
  • 1 tsp. matcha green tea powder
  • 1-2 Tbsp. blueberry syrup (store-bought or homemade)
  • Fresh blueberries for garnish (optional)
  • Ice (if you prefer an iced version)

  • Whisk
  • Serving glass or mug

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, add the matcha green tea powder. Slowly pour in a few tablespoons of hot water, whisking vigorously until smooth and glossy.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm your choice of milk until warm but not boiling.
  3. In your serving glass or mug, drizzle in the blueberry syrup.
  4. Pour the whisked matcha over the blueberry syrup, then gently pour in the warm milk.
  5. Top with fresh blueberries for added color and flavor.

Notes

Prepare blueberry syrup in advance and keep it stored in the refrigerator for future use.
