- Place 24 Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs. Transfer to a mixing bowl, add melted butter and stir until resembling wet sand. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes, then let cool completely.
- In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar, mixing until smooth. Add vanilla extract and mix again. Gently fold in the whipped topping.
- Spoon the filling over the cooled crust, spreading evenly. Top with crushed Oreos and optional gummy worms.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Serve by cutting into slices and enjoy!

Ensure the crust is completely cool before adding the filling to avoid a soupy texture.
