  • 1.5 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  • 3 ripe bananas (sliced)
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice (to prevent browning)

  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 1 cup whipped topping (for folding in)

  • 0.5 cup chocolate sauce
  • 0.5 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • maraschino cherries for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until moistened and crumbly. Press into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
  3. Arrange sliced bananas over the crust and drizzle with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  4. Spoon crushed pineapple over the bananas. Fold whipped topping into remaining pineapple and spread over the dessert.
  5. Drizzle chocolate sauce on top, sprinkle with chopped nuts, and garnish with maraschino cherries.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.

Notes

Chilling allows the flavors to meld together, creating a delightful dessert. For best results, allow to chill overnight.
