Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Italian deli meats (like capicola, salami, mortadella)
  • 1 lb. provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini, sliced
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 12 rolls slider rolls (preferably potato rolls)

  • 9x13-inch baking dish
  • Small bowl
  • Whisk

Method
 

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F.
  2. Gently slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached at the back.
  3. Place the bottom halves of the rolls in a baking dish. Layer with deli meats, provolone cheese, pepperoncini, roasted red peppers, and shredded lettuce.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano, and garlic powder.
  5. Drizzle the dressing over the layers and place the top halves back on the rolls.
  6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Carefully pull apart the sliders and enjoy them warm or at room temperature!

Notes

Assemble the sliders a few hours in advance and refrigerate for best results.
