Ingredients

Group: Ingredients
  • 4 each lobster tails (6-8 ounces each)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, zest and juice
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Bowl
  • Kitchen shears
  • Brush

Method

  1. Begin by carefully slicing the lobster tails in half lengthwise. Use kitchen shears for the cleanest cut, ensuring the beautiful lobster pieces lay flat on the grill. Rinse the halves and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, fresh parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Brush the lobster meat generously with the garlic butter mixture, ensuring every crevice is coated. Allow them to marinate for about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the lobster tails cut-side down on the grill for about 6-8 minutes. Flip them over and brush with more garlic butter, grilling for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and firm yet slightly jiggles in the center.
  5. Once done, remove them from the grill and give them a final brush with the remaining garlic butter. Serve with lemon wedges to squeeze over the top.

Notes

Keep a close eye and pull the lobster off the grill as soon as it turns opaque. Make sure to use high-quality lobster for the best taste.
