Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish
  • Sliced veggies or tortilla chips, for serving

Method
 

  1. Start by slicing the avocados in half, removing the pit, and scooping that luscious green flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. To the bowl, add the Greek yogurt, lime juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, and a pinch of salt. Mash everything together until smooth or leave some chunks for texture.
  3. Once mixed, taste and adjust the salt or lime juice as needed, enhancing the flavors.
  4. Chill the dip in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
  5. Transfer your dip to a serving bowl and sprinkle fresh cilantro on top. Serve with sliced veggies or crispy tortilla chips.

Notes

This dip can also be made a day in advance for convenience.
