- In a microwave-safe mug, add the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Combine these dry ingredients with a fork, ensuring they are well mixed.
- Pour in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps, creating a glossy batter.
- Microwave the mug cake for about 1 minute and 30 seconds, checking for doneness at 1-minute intervals. The cake should rise and have a slight jiggle in the center.
- In a small bowl, mix the additional sugar with a dash of cinnamon. Once your cake is done, sprinkle this mixture on top for that classic snickerdoodle flavor.
